Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was easily my favorite class: psychology of development. Dr. Monk is incredible and very engaging.

    Course highlights:

This course really made me see how different people are based on developmental stages. It gave me a good understanding for how to handle children at different developmental stages. I also enjoyed learning development through and past my age all the way through life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're having trouble, always talk to the professor. Make sure to have an interest in development.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class was awesome! It is developmental psych, and the professor (Jodl) is awesome: she tries to get to know her students and makes it a very open environment. She is engaging and has stories that make her material easy to understand. The class is also relatively easy and straightforward (work load is minimal also), a great class to take as a freshman when you're just getting into college!

    Course highlights:

The class went over the development of people, and was super interesting. I thought overall, the best part of the class was it was so real -- you could often identify things happening with other people as you learned them. I loved how relatable the professor was, and overall the GSIs were pretty great (I only had one but I heard mostly positive things about the others). This is a great psych class to take!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would really take time in the two required papers. Not only are they interesting to do the research, but they are great for grade boosters. Also, make sure you go through the study guide and slides before the exam and you'll do great on the exam!
