    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Wu was a fantastic instructor who genuinely cared about his students learning the material. He was approachable and kind, and very authentic. This was perhaps the best course I took at the university

    Course highlights:

    Any and all things about semiconductor science and materials. Degrees of doping, electron levels and flow. Methods of current flow, erroneous methods, and breakdowns.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    do not miss class. The material is wide and broad, and although not necessarily exceptionally difficult, you cover a lot in a session. The TA and discussion was also extremely beneficial.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This was one of my favorite course at U of M, and particularly in the EECS department. I happen to have a love of physics, and this class is physics heavy, so it played right up my alley. Great knowledge on the physical workings of semiconductor devices.

    Course highlights:

    Professor was great! No lab, just theory and solid problems to work out

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    keep up on the class and homework. If you get behind, you're screwed.
