Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great course! Don't just learn by memorization, try to understand the reactions. I promise it will pay off when you take orgo II! Also, the final tends to be hard because it's cumulative so make sure you review throughout the course for that. When you get something wrong on an exam try to figure out why it was wrong and if you can't, go to office hours!!

    Course highlights:

This course is supposed to be challenging because it is a weeder for pre-med. However, it teaches you great study habits that are useful in the long run!! Especially orgo II!!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't buy the course pack. There is no answer key and it's difficult to check your answers without that. I would use sites like course hero to obtain old exams because at least they have keys and all the problems in the course pack are made with old exam questions!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a treacherously hard course, but the information you learn is highly applicable and very interesting. You definitely get out what you put in to this class, so buckle down and get ready to study your butt off!

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed Coppola's approach to teaching this daunting subject; he made it fun and less stressful.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the entire coursepack!!!! All of it!!!! No excuses!!!!!!!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a hard course, but the professors do everything they can to help you learn. I find the subject interesting in itself as well.

    Course highlights:

We learned to understand the structure of molecules and the basic mechanisms of organic chemical reactions

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study as the lectures continue and don't wait until the week before the exam. Ask questions and get together with study groups
