    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course has a very manageable workload. It is not particularly difficult, but the material is bland and Hogan doesn't help make it any more exciting. Homework assignments are the most arduous aspect of the course as the tests are very short and multiple choice.

    Course highlights:

You definitely learn a great deal about the US monetary system, which is practical in today's day and age. If you're interested in interest rates and simple processes of the economy, this is a solid course for you.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to read the textbook. Look at and collect as many past tests as possible because they are very similar to the exams.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Easy class but extremely boring and hard to pay attention.

    Course highlights:

Gained general knowledge about the banking system, but not much more than that.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Final exam was tough - definitely study. Read the textbook and go over the slides and you will do fine on the midterms.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great introductory course to financial systems and the role of money in the Economy. For anyone curious about how the Fed and FOMC work, and what role they play in the Economy, take this class.

    Course highlights:

Learning about interest rates was definitely a highlight for me. With all the talk about the Fed deciding to raise interest rates or not, this class helped me understand what is going on in the real world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The textbook is super helpful. Buy or rent it used.
