Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This psychology course focused on different pathologies or mental disorders. It was a very interesting class, my favorite one I took last semester. I plan on going into the field of psychology with the main interest in mental illness so this class was perfect for me. The material was simple enough to follow with regular lectures and exams. The instructor made the class very educational as well as entertaining for students. He often played music before class that pertained to the lesson somehow. He also led interactive discussions. I was never bored in that class.

    Course highlights:

I learned about many different mental disorders and with the class, went much further in depth than I ever had in any previous psychology courses. Psychology is a massive field with a lot of information to take in, but this class was taught well and was made understandable. Outside of the classroom, I learned how to manage my time to study for exams and take notes productively.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading the necessary material is vital for success in this class. Reading and rereading will be extremely helpful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this course to anyone interested in the field of psychology. I learned so much from an amazing professor who genuinely enjoys his profession and cares deeply for both his students and his community.

    Course highlights:

This course gave me a glimpse of just a few mental disorders that many individuals face. The course gave insight into the lives of the individuals who struggle as well as what psychologists do to help those individuals. I thoroughly enjoyed the content both from the perspective of the professor as well as the discussions held in section.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise that anyone who decides to take this course to plan on reading. They must be devoted to learning the material by studying both the lecture notes as well as content from the textbook. Of course, one may be able to pass the course with less effort, but those who want to make the most of their experience ought to take those extra steps in immersing themselves in the content of the course.
