Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Earl's passion for social psychology is clearly displayed in how she presents course material. I have never laughed so hard while taking an exam as her questions incorporated TV show characters from The Office, Parks and Rec, and Arrested Development and utilized current events for examples. This allowed the material to become relevant and vital to my life. I would take any course she teaches!

    Course highlights:

Other than gaining a greater knowledge of the topic social psychology, I gained a passion for the topic. Because we were continuously challenged to integrate current events from our own life into the course material, I began seeing how this plays out in everyday life ranging from different relationships to my thoughts. It is because of this course that I became interested in social identities in the field of counseling.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest that any student taking this course consider how the material they learn can be important in their everyday life. This makes the course more interesting and helps you learn faster.
