    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I believe this course, though difficult, was very fair and manageable. The material covered was broad and detailed, but I was very prepared for other science courses as a result of this one.

    Course highlights:

Students learned about topics such as protein synthesis, glycolysis, DNA replication, etc. It was important to know the material to a great level of detail. The course is curved, so student grades are determined relative to the average exam scores.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend all of the lectures and watch them again if they are recorded. Take notes in class and find a friend to help memorize material with. Memorization is critical in this class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a very interesting course, but it requires a lot of details to be memorized. Not something that needs a lot of comprehension, but does need a decent amount of work put into it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me was learning the rest of the details in glycolysis, and oxidative phosphorylation. You learn all the mechanisms and reactions in the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to the quizzes and review the notes.
