I would definitely recommend this course because it challenged me and encouraged me to learn more. I feel that I benefited from this class by learning more about the pediatric population and how to care for them.
I really enjoyed learning about congenital heart defects in this class. I found it extremely interesting to learn about how the structures of the heart can be altered in some babies bodies when they are born. It was also very intriguing to learn about how these defects are corrected.

Advice for students:
Work hard and don't procrastinate! Although this sounds like very generic advice, I found it to be extremely helpful to work through this class by keeping this in mind. It was much easier to tackle the information presented by reviewing the lectures a little bit every day instead of waiting until the last possible minute.
