    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Katie Rubin is a great 3D professor, but her expertise in 3-dimensional art and design doesn't translate very well into drawing. She has struggled to demonstrate and teach valuable drawing techniques.

    Course highlights:

She does show different methods of approaching certain drawing techniques and puts drawing under a new light. She introduces the multifunctional use of tracing paper for illustration as well as planning and sketching and the ideation process. It depends on how useful you find her resources to be.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need an open mind and patience to take a drawing class with Katie Rubin. This drawing class is not as open-ended as one would first expect it to be. It is more structured and occasionally forced.
