Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class's curriculum is structured around hot-button issues that are still highly relevant (AND controversial) in today's ever-expanding world of technology. We explored the implications of tinkering with our DNA - is it a new branch of live-saving science, or are is our arrogance and eagerness to edit the human species dooming us?

    Course highlights:

Discussions in this class are A+. People have so many different opinions, and all of the topics we covered are interesting and debatable - if you know before your baby is born that he/she will have a disability, is it morally ethical to abort or to not abort? That sort of thing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The course is heavily reading-based. You'll read two papers or article for homework in between each class meet-up, and sometimes they can become quite lengthy. Vince provides a comprehensive study guide list of things you need to know for his exams, and you need to use that to do well on the exam.
