Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There are some people who have eclectic styles, but for the most part, the people shop at nearly the same places, so you'll see a lot of people trying to fit in rather than stand out. However, I love that this school is so big and diverse, which means there are many different social groups.

    Course highlights:

Prices Can Be Negotiated – If you negotiate the price a little, the landlords are willing to decrease a little bit of the rent or will try to accommodate your needs in other ways (free washer/dryer, free carpet cleaning, free parking, etc.).

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Central Campus! Living on central campus is essential unless you are an engineering or music student. Many freshman get placed in Bursley or Baits which means you have to take the bus from north campus every day. To avoid this you can join a learning community as a freshman.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I just went through the rush process as a freshman girl. It was extremely stressful but worth it. I'm now in a house I can call my home for the next four years, and forever. There are always frat parties on the weekends and everyone goes.

    Course highlights:

As a girl you can get in easily, but for guys unfortunately it's hard to get in without being in the frat or knowing someone in the house. This school revolves around football, which is a good thing and a bad thing, I guess.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you don't want to be involved in going to games, it's possible. But everyone is a die hard Wolverine here. School spirit is out the wazoo. Mostly everyone goes to the football games, other sports definitely aren't as popular.
