Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

An incredible course that surveyed many important topics in the web space.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the hands on projects, topic variety, and pace of the class.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Start projects early, and do the homework despite it only counting for a small portion of the grade. Cramming for the exams without having done the homework will prove to be quite difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great course which teaches you what you need to know about major topics on the way the web works and how to develop your own sophisticated websites.

    Course highlights:

The course taught me the different aspects to consider when developing a website and showed me which part of web development I find most interesting. Professor DeOrio is very engaging and the projects are fun. Towards the end of the semester you learn smaller topics, such as: Machine Learning, Ethics, Auctions, DNS and Recommender Systems which all had great content and had some awesome tangents too.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to do some basic intro to Python, SQL, Javascript, and HTML if you are not familiar with them. If possible you should also learn about virtual machines and their use.
