Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The daily bus commute was highly inconvenient and the random housing lottery system led me to ending up in a frustrating situation when I tried to return to the dorms for my sophomore year.

    Course highlights:

I lived in Bursley my freshman year so the location really made it hard to fully enjoy my housing experience. I definitely did end up meeting most of my best friends here at the University in Bursley, and the social atmosphere was great.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I currently live Off-Campus and the neighborhood is great, and full of students. The only qualms I have with Off-Campus housing are that the leasing companies often treat the students sub-par because, to them, it seems we're only students and they don't take us as seriously as non-student tenants.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not Much to Work With – Unless you have a means of transportation, there aren't too many options outside of fast food; I have to travel to fifteen minutes away to a city close by to get the food that I really like.

    Course highlights:

Glad I Chose Umich – UMich has provided me with so many opportunities to grow. I've spent time not only studying, but also making more friends and getting involved in more organizations than I thought possible. No one holds your hand through Michigan undergrad, but I relish the challenge to grow both academically and socially.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Foodie Delight – Ann Arbor has an amazing selection of restaurants. South U and State Street have great, relatively inexpensive options, while Main Street and Kerrytown house tons of gourmet and fine dining (great for when parents come up).
