This class was tough.
I would recommend Critical Medical Anthropology if you intend to pursue medicine because it provides insight into the medicine on a national and global scale. One can learn a lot about the impact of healthcare imperatives, cultural influences on medicine as well as economic deterrents or incentives with regards to the healthcare system.
The highlights of the course were lecture and discussion. With this course you will go beyond the hospital or the lab and evaluate the human element of medicine and theoretical approaches to biomedical approaches to health and healing
