    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My class was instructed by a GSI which can be very hit or miss, but even if you get the worst GSI, there are so many available resources that can get you past it. I never spoke to my GSI and was able to get an A in the class by utilizing outside resources.

    Course highlights:

This is essentially expanding upon high school calculus. A lot of it is the same concepts just expanded upon. Michigan Math is very thorough and will apply what you're learning to more realistic aspects of life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

At the very least skim through the assigned readings, this will help with your tests and Webwork. The math center in the basement of EH = major key. Study past exams from the beginning.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course if you are required to take it. Michigan's math course are concept heavy, and can be very difficult. I would highly recommend Beth Wolf as a professor.

    Course highlights:

We learned how to apply derivatives and anti-derivatives to real life situations.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not get behind in studying.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Make sure to study the past exams and go to office hours

    Course highlights:

Calc was not too tough. Great qualitative skills. 5-8 hours of work. Be prepared to study for the exams are hard.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard for exams because they are the only thing that counts
