    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this class. It requires higher thinking and evolves a students understanding of the earth and their surroundings. It is a very fun course and helps students work with other students in labs. It is an opportunity for you to help others and to have others help you because everybody has a different level of understanding.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course were all the labs that we did and the extent to which we were taught to understand what we were doing. I learned to think and look deeper into objects and ideas.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you are dedicated to your work and do not procrastinate.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Taking this course was a completely enjoyable experience, I loved the style of teaching, and it began my love of science.

    Course highlights:

What did I learn? Well I don't believe that the point of this is to give a recap of my knowledge of science, but I will say that the course gave me enough knowledge of the fundamentals to spark my curiosity, and thereby gave me an inspiration and goals to achieve.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

All you need to succeed in this course is a drive to do what is asked of the course. From then on, the course is not too difficult as long as you are an active, well-rounded student.

This course is a college level course that prepares students to be ahead of the game as they move into college courses upon graduation

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot through the labs that we did in class - DNA extraction, disection and behavior observation.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Work on your course work daily. This is a class that you have to stay ahead of the game.
