Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It helps prepare for future, possibly more rigorous courses by giving you wide spread knowledge of all the basics. I felt like I had a good handle on all the material and was ready to continue on to the next level. A lot of help was offered if anyone needed it.

    Course highlights:

A highlight from this course would be the labs. The labs are what solidify everything you learned in the lecture and the hands on aspect also adds to that. Lectures were very thorough and clear. All questions from students were answered and it time was taken to make sure all the concepts were understood.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

A very simple way to succeed in this course is to do the homework every night! I found this very important so I could insure that I still could comprehend the work even when I'm not at school. In the beginning, I learned that skipping the homework lead to a little more confusion on the topic, but every other time that I did it I was perfectly fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a great introduction into the lab sciences. The teacher is willing to take her time to make sure you learn what you need to learn in order to succeed. You just have to put in the effort.

    Course highlights:

I gained a basic knowledge of the periodic table, what acids and bases are and how to neutralize them. You learn that certain element are very volatile when exposed to air or water unless surrounded by oil. It gives a basic knowledge of what you can find on earth and gives you knowledge to remain safe.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the work the teacher gives you, don't try and skip through this course because it won't turn out to well. Make sure you study and if you need extra help ask the teacher.
