    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this class because you learn more than just American History in this class. Like in every AP class, you learn the skills and techniques of studying and how to learn. You also learn what to do and what not to do in an AP class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning about the history of the United States and how we got to where we are today. I learned how to take notes in a way where I can actually use them study. I also learned that asking a lot of questions can also help you learn the material more rather than sitting there confused.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class you just have to be prepared for all the hard work you are going to have to do. Try to find the perfect way for you to study by yourself because that will help you learn the content better. For example, I would use Quizlet to study before every test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the benefits later in life. Learning history is an important way to grow as a nation and this course helps to explain why the world and the United States are in their current state of affairs.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were being able to learn about why modern politics are so complicated and how the US has established precedents and changed over time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't get behind in the content. If your teacher is telling you to do an assignment, make sure it's done befoe you move on to the next topic.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course if you love history. The connections gained to our government now and popular opinions are related back to their origins. There is a lot of reading from a textbook and from novels about certain time periods.

    Course highlights:

I learned what the constitution actually means and how it has been used by courts and regular people throughout the years to shape what a sense of "America" means. I also learned why the United States has or is cutrently at war.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The tests on every Friday come directly from the readings in the textbook. Mr. Norris is happy to explain any concept when you do text corrections.
