Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In this course, I found the material engaging and enjoyable to learn. It deepened and widened my limited knowledge in Biology. Furthermore, Dr. Leete made each class go by so quickly. He is able to simplify complex concepts, which allows you to understand the material much better.

    Course highlights:

Personally, my favorite part of this course was learning about the cell in depth, such as the functions of each comment within. Learning about the cell's support systems, roles of each organelle, and functions of the cell membrane simply mesmerized me.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best thing you can do for yourself is to dedicate a sufficient amount of time to studying. The quantity of given work is certainly not a burden, but to understand the material completely, you should study on your own. To elaborate, review your notes, read your supplements. read your textbook, and take as many practice tests/quizzes. This hard work will without doubt payoff for it will make actual exams easy to pass.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Borden is an amazing teacher. She understands the struggles of senioritis and makes learning bio fun through all her games! If you ever need help, she is always there to help you if you just check her availability. Homework is not too bad but i would recommend doing the mastering bio assignments earlier ahead because they are very long.

    Course highlights:

We had competitions throughout the year with other table groups such as the organelle debate and the scavenger hunt. This was not only a good way to become familiar with the parts of the organelles but to build friendships inside the classroom as well. Overall, this class was very relaxed, although the content itself was hard and you had to memorize a lot, Borden makes it fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, look over all her prezies because she goes really fast in class, go on youtube and watch all the bozeman science videos because Mr. Anderson explains each concept really well, do all your mastering bio, go on easy notecards to study because most of her questions on the test are from there, ask questions if you don't understand, the textbook was never used.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Have you ever wanted to dive deep into cell signaling? Cellular respiration? Heck, even the darn organelles themselves? Me neither, until I took this course.

    Course highlights:

The items listed above, but I particularly enjoyed the genetics unit.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Absolutely read the textbook. It's dry but everything you need is in there.
