    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Have you ever wanted to dive deep into cell signaling? Cellular respiration? Heck, even the darn organelles themselves? Me neither, until I took this course.

    Course highlights:

The items listed above, but I particularly enjoyed the genetics unit.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Absolutely read the textbook. It's dry but everything you need is in there.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Biology is a must have class to take when deciding on a career option. You are introduced to both molecular and ecological biology in true depth. For people interested in the medical field, this is a priority class!

    Course highlights:

The most interesting aspect of the intro to biology course is that you cover the anatomy of the body. Although the human anatomy and physiology is not covered thoroughly, parts such as the brain and nervous system are emphasized greatly. The way the course is set up from the hierarchy of atom to biosphere helps students understand the big picture. Thanks to this course, I found my calling in career options.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are taking this course just for the credit and with no interest whatsoever in biology, do not take the class. This course is for the high achieving students who are interested in the subject and not just taking it to assume it is an easy credit (which it is not).
