    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because you acquire a deep knowledge of world history.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights from this course included learning about the whole span of history. It was so interesting to start at the beginning of time and work until more modern times. I learned so much about the world that I hadn't previously ever known.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you have to make sure that you keep up with the nightly reading and actually prepare properly for the quizzes and tests. If you get behind, it can be difficult to catch up since the class moves at such a steady pace forward.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

History has always been an interesting thing to learn, and another way to learn from our mistakes.AP World History is an interesting world to step into and learn about. To Actually think about the reasons certain events played out, and to take time to remember those glory days with the tragic ones that came along.History has always been awesome to learn. Its a challenge but its worth the time and effort.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight for me was the DBQ's. It was hard sometimes reading the excerpts and looking at the pictures and really thinking about what it was saying.Off first instinct we tend to write down everything we know because we think history is just passed off of stating facts, but When discussing my mistakes and actually learning it in a different perspective, it was awesome.I loved when my teacher taught me ways to think outside of the box and not think so literally. For example when people thought the reason for Abraham Lincoln was to emancipate African Americans from slavery , but his real intentions were to stop the Union from fighting with each other.I loved that because my first belief was so wrong, but finding strategic ways to write about history.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up on the first hump you get , continue to push through and study.Whether or not you fail the first exam or DBQ learn from it and try again. If you give up you will never see results in your progress. Its a challenge, but each challenge needs someone with determination. So go for it.
