    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Allows one to read many books they would not typically buy at a bookstore. This course also helps one better write essays or research papers, which can be used to excel in college. We read books like One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and Wuthering Heights.

    Course highlights:

This course allowed me to expand my interests in literature and in english in general. With this class you must stay on top of your coursework. Because of this it allowed me to be better at my time management skills, which will help significantly in college.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Keep an open mind when it comes to the reading. Ask for help and research the time period in which the books were written. This allows the reader to understand the mindset of the author or characters.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course in order to cap off your high school english learning experience. Taking a dual enrollment class provides you with high school and college credit. Having insight into a college type atmosphere not only gives you a wake up call during senioritis, but is an enjoyable class that challenges you (if you have the write professor of course).

    Course highlights:

So far, the highlights of this course have been connecting are learning to the movie "Dead Poets Society. You learn a lot about individuality and self made success.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be interactive with your teacher. Provide your teacher with reading you would be interested in. Don't limit yourself to what your teacher expects but expand her/his horizons as well.
