Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs Martin actually made sense when teaching comma rules, sentence structures, etc. This class not only improved my writing and speaking of English, but it also helped me with my Spanish class as well.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write without the incorrect usage of "they" and "he", I can now approach a fifteen page paper without trepidation, and there were many fun projects we did (models, posters, etc).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the constructive criticism. It helps. Also, remember not to use fatal flaws!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was pretty challenging, but definitely worth it. I learned so much about writing techniques, and I became a much better reader and writer. Though there were hardly any novels to read, it was good for me to get into the nitty gritty of rhetorical techniques and strategies to help my reading and writing skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were learning about different rhetorical strategies and learning how to make my writing more credited and influential. We learned about rhetorical strategies, how ethos, logos, and pathos should fit into a paper, how fallacies can be used in good and bad ways, and so much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely don't just memorize things to get a good grade. Absorb the information taught to you and learn to use it in your own writing. Also, when you are reading books, magazines, articles, or anything else, practice finding fallacies, rhetorical devices, or vocab words in the text.
