    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is very challenging, but also preparatory. The material is quite difficult, considering the literary works studied in this class were written centuries ago, but the class makes you think and challenges you to push yourself where you never thought possible. You will grow during this class, you will be able to say that you succeeded or did your best in one of the tougher classes the school has to offer.

    Course highlights:

In this class, I learned how to read more into poetry, and learned that there really is more than just the surface of the poem than you would think. I learned to analyze literary works on a scale that I'd never experienced before. I loved being able to work together as groups in order to solve issues and apply concepts of the works, being able to experience hard-working groups where everyone does their part was a relief. The books are really interesting too, and the messages that you learn from them will last you a lifetime.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared and be willing to study. This class is tough and challenging but you can succeed if you put the time and effort into it. You have to want to do the work and apply yourself in order to pass this class. If you pass this class, you will be prepared for college and what comes after that as well.
