Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Not only is Miss Fish a good teacher the class is amazing! Miss Fish pushes you to bring out your best work and shows the right college atmosphere to get you prepared. You learn the best about english and what a college classroom would be like.

    Course highlights:

My highlights were the papers, they really pushed me to open my thoughts and really gain a thinking purpose on what I would want a reader to get out of my papers. The papers were a great way to work hard in thought processes and writing training.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It teaches you much more about higher level writing, and understanding high level writing. Improving important skills and techniques to be successful in reading and writing. You must be willing to put in the work though, and at times it may be difficult, but worth it.

    Course highlights:

One highlight is I have improved my reading comprehension immensely. I have challenged myself to read more intimidating books, and applied them into my class work. It also helped me increase my reading and english scores on the ACT. Most of what I read now I am able to mentally annotate and gain a more full understanding of what the writer is conveying to their audience.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

First, Realize that not everything you learn will come naturally to you, but you must work to improve. Second, don't be afraid to write or read about something you don't understand, you will be surprised how you will react to new subjects and ideas. Lastly, when one writes a paper it can be better just by rewriting key points so they stand out and strongly represent what your purpose of writing is.
