Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Hershman is a wonderful teacher who knows what he is talking about. He gives you insight into book and poetry that you didn't have before. I have especially grown as a writer with him as a teacher. He shows you proper formatting and gives excellent advice and critiques.

    Course highlights:

In the beginning of this course, we studied the Samurai's Garden by Gail Tsukiyama. It was an amazing beginning to the course. We gained insight we didn't have before and he shared with us many parallels, shadows, and backgrounds.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You shouldn't put off doing essays until the last minute. I know from experience that you do much better and feel more secure about your grade. He gives you great insight if you ask for it so don't forget to ask questions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a great way to learn about different types of essays and writing and the beauties and individuality that readers and writers can develop from each piece of material.

    Course highlights:

I gained a greater sense of appreciation for different types of genres and more knowledge on how each one of them works and how to read and comprehend each one with justice and appreciation.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I remind students entering this course to work hard and have an open mind. Overthinking puts you in a jumbled mess of idea but an open mind will help yourself and others to appreciate new ideas and opinions on writing and reading material.
