Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great way to earn college credit for this course through EWU. I have learned a lot about World Literature through EWU's professors and Mr. Hershman.

    Course highlights:

We read the novel "The Samurai's Garden" and I loved it. It was an amazing read. I was able to learn so much about the Japanese culture and how it relates to my culture.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course, but use the EWU Writer's Center and much as possible. It is a great tool to students.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Hershman always tried to help us during the class so we could understand the material better. He would make time after the lesson, so we could ask him questions about the material we were reading. The literal analysis helped us develop more critical thinking into the material.

    Course highlights:

We read Beowulf which was an interesting material to read. One of my favorite novels that I really enjoyed reading was The Samurai's Garden a 1996 novel by an American author named Gail Tsukiyama. Not only was the book interesting but it made you reflect about life and how to not judge other and make sure you know them because their past may be interesting. You never know what that person went to.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read all material Mr.Hershman gives you its very important that you read and pay attention in class while he is given the lecture wright notes it helps you study before a quiz and a test. When you are doing the literal devices make sure you wright it in the right format.
