Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because its an easier AP class and it will help you for AP Gov Pol as well.

    Course highlights:

The end of the year project is fun because you get to make a documentary on anything you want basically. It was fun because you learn about what you want to learn about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are a student that excels in history or loves to learn about how our great America came to be then this is the class for you. Also, if you are willing to push yourself to all studying limits or you are a student that wants to have AP credit under their belt to look competitive when applying to colleges this is also the class for you. APUSH is one of the hardest classes offered at my school purely because of the mass amount of knowledge the AP association wants the students to know for their cumulative test at the end of the year. Sure it may be a very difficult class, but it's not impossible, and it sure looks good on a transcript. Also, taking AP World the year before will greatly increase your chances of success. AP World will prepare you for the readings and work load while also give you some knowledge that will allow for easier connections in learning the content for APUSH.

    Course highlights:

I learned the most effective ways to study through this class. I was able to set up a system, a quarter of the way through this class, that definitely helped to raise my grade and other grades at that. I also learned fabulous time management. Whether this meant I had to take a lunch to study my notes or stay up an extra hour at night to try and get some facts straight in my head, I made it work. The actual content taught in this class was not all that exciting nor interesting but I did enjoy learning silly facts about our presidents and all of the controversy and discrimination involved with the division of colored and white people in our nation's past.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this class I would locate multiple sources online it in other books to review the chapters in the textbook assigned to read each week. From these sources, make your own study guides at the beginning of each week to keep up with the weekly tests. Keeping these study guides then come in handy when finals roll around. Also, printing out these guides and taking notes on them in class will greatly help to ingrain useful inoformation in your brain. There will be so much information thrown your way, you'll need to find the best strategy to remember the important stuff.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very insightful for the history of this country. Also Mrs. Skone does a good job with spacing lecturing, projects, group work, and individual work.

    Course highlights:

The final project was a lot of fun, because we were very open to choose the topic of what we wanted to do. My group of three made a documentary of the history of rap. It featured three people involved in music and was very insightful on all things hip hop.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course, because its definitely worth it. Its one of the easier AP classes, if you're considering taking AP classes you need to know that it's not easy. You have to put the work in for the grade you want. If you want an A you have to put a lot of effort in.
