    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very difficult course, but I am much more prepared for college math.

    Course highlights:

All the principles of calculus are covered, so even if you don't take the AP test, you will be much more prepared for future math classes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a really tough class, but hang in there you're learning really important things.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Pre-Calc is my hardest class this year. I've been in Mrs. Holtz room outside of class many times and no matter what she always makes me feel like the smartest person in the room. A question is never considered dumb to her and I can count on her to always make time for me if I need help.

    Course highlights:

I came into this course not knowing anything about asymptotes and how to find the area under a line. After a few weeks of studying with Mrs. Holtz I was doing just fine on my own. It's a great feeling when I can do my homework without asking questions on how to do certain problems.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Students must have a strong positive attitude towards math and have to be willing to take the time and put in the effort. Also come into the class with a fresh mind forget everything from the day and come in with a ready to learn mindset.
