Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was challenging on multiple levels. It strengthened my study habits and effectively established learning skills.

    Course highlights:

I loved how we were made to do actually read the chapters and then take quizzes to see if we read the passages.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study every night and read what you're told! Take notes on everything and do not be afraid to ask questions. Get involved in the daily discussions as well.

I would recommend it. I learned so much it that class. He teaches more than just what we need for the test.

    Course highlights:

He was really funny, but also thorough. I learned about all of American history, as well as current events and life tips.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard, study hard, and read the textbook.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it develops many good habits that are good for college. The curriculum also aligns well with AP Language and Composition if taken in the same semester.

    Course highlights:

I gained so much information about the United States in this course. It often helps me in some of my other history classes too, it is amazing how much things start to make sense as you progress throughout the course. Some information seems to be random facts that must be memorized but at least if you are a contestant on Jeopardy one day, you will know all the answers to United States history questions!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you are going to take this course, be prepared to do the work for it. It is a lot of reading and a lot of studying, but the end results are very satisfying. I would recommend taking it especially if you plan on attending a four year university or even community college.
