    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because its really interesting. I'm not a science lover per se, but Biology really made me like science and appreciate it more than I originally did. My teacher in particular had cool labs and subjects within biology that were great to learn. The class was as I said insightful and my teacher and peers made the class all the more interesting.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed when we learned about the different cells, we got to make a poster board about the cells and we made the cells very realistic and detailed, it was a lot of fun to me. When we got to the hereditary unit, I definitely enjoyed that unit because it was very interesting to know and learn about different blood types and what I have, and DNA. I especially enjoyed looking at the slides under the microscope. Biology was just an easy and fun class period.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Within the Biology course, there is very little math to the best of my rememberance. I don't remember needing math maybe just your standard adding and subtraction and possibly a little multiplication. The course isn't hard at all. Paying attention and not goofing off is probably the most important thing to do in this class, because if you miss something then you're almost forced to teach yourself. A lot of biology is visual learning and not much memorization

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in majoring in Biology in the future.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course, we did many different labs. Some of the more interesting things we did involved dissecting pigs and pollinating flowers with dead bees. I learned a lot about why things happened instead of just what they are.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I'd definitely see if your teacher has any extra notes or knows websites that will help you study. It's also important to highlight important things, so you remember to go back and review them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

First off, the course is interesting. If you haven't taken any college level science courses, this is a good introductory one, heavy amounts of content. The content is understandable and makes sense in context to the world.

    Course highlights:

My personal highlight was learning about communication systems. It provided real examples about how the body creates insulin and what it does. I found that very interesting

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the work, show up to class. Everything in the class starts to make sense once real life examples are provided and most of that comes from the teacher
