Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Mrs. Keizur is a fabulous teacher! She communicates clearly, has reasonable expectations, is fair and kind, and cares about the success of her students. She will help her students with any problems and answers all questions students have. Most importantly, she makes math fun!
Course highlights:
The highlights of the course included how to conduct a survey and also how to analyze the results of a survey. I enjoyed organizing a survey; it was nice that students could be creative and pick a topic that was interesting to them. The class also examined data and discussed what discrete and continuous data were. Probability was my favorite topic, and I liked learning about continual probability. Using a spinner and dropping coins onto a grid were fun activities. We also calculated mean, median, and mode values, which was mostly a review of what I had learned previously in other math classes.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Turn in your homework on time and make sure you study for your tests. She will give a lot of tests but will review with you to make sure you understand all the concepts. Use your class time to complete homework, if possible, and get your questions answered by her, not other students.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
