Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was more than just a time to sit down and learn and be lectured. Mr. Roth made the class interesting by creating different opportunities to learn in new ways that are original and make the content a lot more interesting. One thing to note is that there are a lot of learning outcomes, essays or short answer responses, in the class and these can be a bit challenging at times. Overall, however, the class is definitely worth the amount of work that is given because, in the end, there is not too much homework and the class is a welcomed change from the rest of the routined lectures.

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course, I learned about many different psychological experiments and case studies that really interested me. I found this aspect of the class interesting because I was able to see how different researchers found new information about the brain and human behavior. Of all of the things in this course, the experiments and studies were the highlights of my learning experience.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering taking this course, I recommend that you do not procrastinate. Make sure to prioritize your time because once you fall behind in this particular course, it is very difficult to catch back up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was so much fun and you learn a lot of interesting things. It is good to have at least a basic understanding of why people act the way they do.

    Course highlights:

I learned about a lot of chemicals in the brain and what they do to us if there is too much or too little. You will have to do an IA, but the teacher helps you through it and the experiments are fun to do. At the end of the year, you get to pick a chapter to learn about on your own and there is a good assortment of topics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate! Take the time to do the work for this class. The teacher is flexible and understanding, but try to do everything to the best of your ability.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it gives students an opportunity to learn more about the human brain and how it works. Even if a student does not have an interest in the medical field or anyyji to do with the brain really, I think they would find interest in this course. I also believe that students, by taking this course, have the chance to practice their time management skills.

    Course highlights:

By taking this class I learned better time management skills because of the assignments we were given that had to be completed. I also improved my writing skills through the learning outcomes we were assigned. Overall, I am very glad I decided to take this course because I was able to learn a lot and also gain some experience about what the real world is like.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A student considering this course has to be able to manage their time. They cannot be a procrastinator because that will cause them to fall so far behind that it will be extremely difficult to catch up again. The amount of assignments that are given are not for people who do not like to do work.
