    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

In this course you go above and beyond your learning ability. The teacher displays a great sense of knowledge and interest in the subject. In this class, the teacher showed your accomplishments mattered and your growth in knowledge has a great impact on your future.

    Course highlights:

The major learning outcomes were cellular and animal biology. At the end of the school year we dissected a pigeon. In this hands on experiment you learn the anatomy of the chosen animal by using tools to explore throughout the insides of a nonliving organism. This course consisted of experimenting with mice by observing their behavior in a maze and comparing the results with different independent variables.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not wait until the day before to study for your exam! The course content is easy to understand but it does take time and effort to choose to study the objectives. Spacing out your study hours will increase the amount of knowledge you are able to comprehend and memorize, it is scientifically proven! Your teacher is a great resource for help for any type of course and maybe they will let you in on a few hints about succeeding in your class!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you are considering going into a science in the future, this class is a good tool to see if you really enjoy it or are good at it. It teaches you a lot about life science and plants and animals. The knowledge I learned will be very useful in my future as I plan on studying biology.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part about this course was learning how all the body systems work together and being able to dissect a fetal pig. It really helped me grasp how every part of the body works together.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you make time to study for each test and memorize each system that you have learned. Most everything that you learn is tested over so study hard!
