    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was exceptionally difficult, even for someone like me who wants to be a part of the sciences. However, if you have the knack for it, or are willing to power through, the labs we did in class and the teacher herself are a ton of fun.

    Course highlights:

One of my favorite labs was burning food to find out how many calories were in it. Through these lessons, I learned a lot about energy and the forces that govern our world at the smallest level.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready for a grind, but enjoy yourself as best as you can.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was extremely complex and many of the concepts were hard to grasp without extreme focus and repetition. To succeed in this class you must take a basic chemistry course first otherwise you will be lost and have to work twice as hard to understand the math and reasoning behind the lessons.

    Course highlights:

This class did provide me with a better understanding of converting units through dimensional analysis. It improved my math skills and strengthened them so I could take harder math classes in the future.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you decide to take this course watch all videos you can on the material outside of the classroom. Some people teach the concepts differently and it may be easier to grasp the concept you if are learning it a different way. If you get stuck on any homework problems yahoo answers has the same (or very similar) problems on the website that are already solved. This can help you to check if you are doing the problem right or help you figure out how to even start it. Use as many resources as you can find!
