Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course for a number of reasons. first of all, It is a great learning environment. You can tell, many of the kids in the class, want to genuinely be there. The course is interesting and sucks you in the first day. Much of what we learn in the class can easily be related into your own life, which is a big part of learning the content. Second, My teacher, Mr. Frank, Is a great teacher in that he takes the time to make sure we understand. What i mean by this is that he tells story's to relate to the content, he answers our questions thoroughly, and knows just how to help us study and help us prepare for the tests.

    Course highlights:

My highlights throughout this class so far is most definitely working with teams and other individuals to learn and study just how the brain works. I love how the course is more of why we think how we do other than how to different parts of the brain works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There are many different tips I could give to new coming student to this class, but the big one I would emphasize is, staying on top of things. This class can be easygoing if you put in work at the right times. If you put in work a little bit each time before the tests if will become easier and easier to stay on track and follow the content.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because I have gained much knowledge about the human body and how the brain connects and works with the other systems of the body. I think psychology is a class that would benefit everyone because you can connect what you learned in class to yourself and see the effects on your own life or on others.

    Course highlights:

We had 13 units in our psychology class. Our first unit we learned about important people and the history of psychology. We learned in depth about each view of psychology, biological, humanistic, behaviorism, cognitive, psychodynamic, sociocultural, and evolutionary. Within these units we learned about different types of learning, the parts of the brain, the endocrine and nervous system, sleeping, psychological disorders, phobias, and much more. I learned a lot about the systems within my own body and how they connect to each other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must read! Reading textbooks are important and will prepare you for tests and quizzes. Reading and taking notes helps you understand the material better and can help you connect the information to your own life.
