Period Two picks up at the founding of Jamestown,
Virginia and ends with the beginnings of the Seven Years
War. Period Two covers who had control over the US before
the British took over and what they did with the land. This
Period One starts with Christopher
Columbuss voyage to and discovery of America or
at least the Caribbean in 1492. Columbuss
journey sparked the age of the Spanish conquistador.
The Period ends with the British sending over
Period Three picks up right where Period Two
leaves off at the beginning of the Seven Years War. Period
Three covers everything from the Seven Years War to the
American Revolution to post-Revolutionary America.
Period Four covers the 48-year period
between the Market Revolution and the abolitionist
movements. This period saw the first true
American war and the beginnings of the Civil War.
1. Frederick Douglass - a national
Period Five takes all the causes, including the
ones talked about in Period Four, and shows their
impact on the country leading up to the civil war.
Period Five starts with the treaty of Guadalupe
Hidalgo and ends at the end of Recon
