Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great course to take if you're interested in the history of the country. Mrs. Butler is one of the greatest teachers I've ever had because she makes class fun but teaches in a way that helps us learn better and remember the things she teaches us. There are lots of hands on activities in this class which can help those students who learn better by visual learning. I would highly recommend to anyone eligible to take this class.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed how interesting Mrs. Butler made the lectures. She would always tell us she hated sitting through lectures when she was in high school and so she would still give lectures, she would just do it in a way to catch our attention or help us be more engaged in the lesson. She explains terms in a way for us to understand them more. She'll connect words we need to know to modern day examples which helped me a lot when trying to learn. I loved the debates we would have in this class as well about political events or any other historical things that happened in the United States. Those debates and discussions helps you to become more involved and voice your opinions about things you wouldn't normally speak up about.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Although this class isn't the hardest, it's not the absolute easiest either. The test we're given have a lot of information that you need to know. Study, study, study. It's a simple thing, but it will help you immensely when you're taking those tests. Pay attention in class and make sure you attend regularly. It's easy to get behind in this class because Mrs. Butler has a PowerPoint full of notes you'll take every time you have that class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I learned a lot about history and politics. Before I took this class, I had no idea what was going on with the election right now because I could not understand it. Now I can be more involved in politics and I am really grateful for that.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the election process. I also learned more about the US constitution and the beginning of our country.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To take this course, you must be motivated and hard working. It is not an easy course and it takes a lot of effort! Do your best on your assignments and make the most of them!!
