Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because the topics that are covered in class are crucial to today's society and it's important to be educated on today's current events.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights would be that every time we took notes we take a quiz and that would help a lot once we had to take the test at the end of every unit. I learned a lot about current issues and gave me a whole new perspective on events that happen all around the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice would be to do the homework, take good notes, annotate them, go over them, have discussions outside of school with other classmates, ask questions and to do more research outside of school.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was a very informative and intellectually engaging course. I learned a lot about what was going on in our world and about the problems that are occurring. Through this course I became more open minded and also learned how to study.

    Course highlights:

One of the biggest highlights of this course was how much I learned and how now, 2 years later, I still remember the main topics I learned. Through this course I learned how countries are at different places in their development and how these differently developed countries rely on each other. Another highlight of this course was the teacher. Mr. Barnett opened my eyes to problems in our world, and he showed my whole class some amazing things in our world. Not only did Mr. Barnett teach the course well, but he also helped us all to learn how to study the way that was best for us individually. The material and teacher in this class made it a great exprience

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For anyone taking this course, I would suggest that you actually read the textbook- it may seem boring at first, but if you learn from the textbook, you then can discuss and learn more in-depth, relevant concepts and events in class. When you put in the work outside of this class, the class can be challenging, but manageable, and also incredibly fun and inspirational.
