    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are someone who enjoys a challenge, specifically in mathematics, this is the class for you. Not many high school students get the opportunity to take a college calculus course, but if given that chance, I suggest you take it. It will be difficult, and there will be times where you wish to give up and maybe even drop the course, but the benefits of the class will forever be something that you will not want to miss out on. Not only will universities accept this class as a credit, but will be impressed at the fact that you took it in high school.

    Course highlights:

I have learned more than just calculus skills. I have learned time management, the importance of studying and being thorough with my work, and how to be patient when it comes to problems I may have a hard time with.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework. Especially since there is such limited time in class to get through absolutely everything that should be taught, it is important to take the hour or so when you get home to do the work. Take notes on what you need help with, then come into class the next ready with questions for the teacher. Make sure you fully understand the chapter or problem before moving on. You do not want to get behind in a class like that.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is so hard. You challenge yourself in ye, the best way possible, but it's difficult. I mean I guess it would have been helpful to pay attention EVERY day but oh well.

    Course highlights:

I liked the people I met and I went out of my usual comfort zone. I was proud of myself, despite my test scores!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely just do your homework, the more practice you have, the better you'll do.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I was not prepared for this class, but if you are ready and UNDERSTAND what is taught in Pre-Cal, unlike me who just got an A, then you will be fine.

    Course highlights:

The class helped me with remembering my basic algebra skills, believe it or not I really fell back on those when taking my tests. Thank you, freshman year.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Are. You. Ready. You need to be able to put in lots of time and effort.
