Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend taking this course because it really introduces you into the world of writing. The professor was a great mentor throughout the course. Not only did she grade fairly, but when I would make a mistake, she would find the best way to further explain what I did wrong and how to fix it.

    Course highlights:

Ther highlights were the three main papers we got to write. They were all interesting topics and helped further my writing experience. I learned new mechanics and basics of writing. It was greatly needed because I struggled with it before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to really invest time into the course. Don't wait until the last minute to write a paper because you will make mistakes. I learned in this course procrastination was my worst enemy. I quickly defeated it and got through the course easily.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is absolutely stellar in her teaching abilities. She makes sure that a student does not struggle and she is always willing to go the extra mile to make are a student succeeds.

    Course highlights:

My teacher furthered my understanding of MLA formatting. Prior to this class, I was only taught the basics of MLA citation; however, after taking this course, I am an expert at MLA formatting. In addition, there has been a significant improvement in my writing ability. I learned to write more professionally, which is required for jobs. I have improved my vocabulary. I discovered that writing is a process and one must be patient with it. I have paid closer attention to my essays.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate. This is your number one enemy. You cannot write a quality paper within a few hours or a day. A well-written paper takes multiple days or weeks because of the amount of publishing and proofreading involved. Also, embrace the joyfulness of writing. This will increase the quality of your paper, and it will look more professional. Enjoying writing will decrease your tendency to rush through an assignment, and your paper will look better because of your efforts.
