    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course, primarily for those seeking interests in the medical or engineering fields. Apart from the graduation requirement, Honors Biology teaches students core values that help to prepare the student for future courses. The course manages to allow the student to focus on the unique processes around us, further developing our understanding of the world.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was delving into the DNA and RNA replication processes. By learning the genetic makeup, it may help in future Biology courses. It required students to depend on understanding the conceptual aspects, rather than solely memorization. Focusing more on concepts contributes to developing the student further, preparing students for future courses and by implementing good studying techniques for all subjects.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students to use your teacher and other resources to your advantage. They are there to help and will further benefit the students' understanding of a topic. I also recommend reading the textbook material due to the numerous pictures displaying certain processes or diagrams.
