    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students who know that they want to major in the science field. It is an amazing course that allows students to become ready for college based science classes.

    Course highlights:

I have learned a great foundation in biology. Within this foundation, I have learned how glucose is broken down to give us our energy. I have learned how our body's immune system helps make the pathogens needed to fight the antigen inside the body. I have learned about Darwin and his natural selection theory and the meaning of evolution.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I think that in order to do well, you have to put 100% of your time into it. When you start to learn a new chapter, it is helpful to start reading the chapter before or while you have started it. It helps make the understanding process a lot easier. Also studying in advance is very helpful, maybe even with a friend. I find it that when you study with others, you learn little ways to remember certain topics.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the course was very beneficial and I learned a lot. If you are interested in biology, this course will tame your thirst.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the dissections. We dissected a piglet, a pigeon, and a toad. I learned the anatomy of these creators and many more. We also covered bacteria and insects, learning all of the benefits of both.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always pay attention in class and ask questions when you are confused. Start studying a couple days before the test and memorize the parts of the organism that the test is over.
