Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it for someone that is interested in majoring in psychology, because Ms. Chua will provide you more than just what's in the textbook. She is pretty hands on, and loves to connect her lectures to things in the outside world.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the funny videos.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

GO FOR IT, but don't do this if you want a blow off class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is extremely important for Social Science majors and includes a multitude of helpful information. Although the professor was not the most qualified or communicative, the class itself is extremely interesting and helpful in understanding other people and how the mind functions in accordance with behavior and outside stimuli.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the functions of the brain and what areas stimulate what actions. I also really enjoyed the behavioral and social psychology sections of the course because it offers solutions to why people in our lives act in certain ways alone or with each other.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read professor reviews because in reality, that is the only thing that hindered the course for me personally. Also, make sure to study the material and not slack off because not only is the information helpful and important in real-life, it can also be difficult to learn depending on how well your professor teaches. I had to read my textbook and study because my professor was not adequate at her job.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Evan is a great instructor with thorough lectures and hands-on review activities. She is very relaxed and ready to help whenever you need it. I was her student during a trial period of video lectures every Friday, which were easy to watch or listen to in the car, over lunch, or simply while taking notes in the library.

    Course highlights:

The most interesting part of the course was the inclusion of real-world examples and applications of psychology. There was always something extra you could read about the information. I still remember some of the anecdotes discussed in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If the video lectures are still part of the course, make sure you watch or listen to them! It's just as important as being in class on a regular day.
