    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Meinke is a very knowledgeable geneticist and is very personable. The class was very interesting.

    Course highlights:

The function of mutations and genetic disorders along with their affects on a person was intriguing. I learned how to study, but also learned a lot about the importance of realizing that differences are often uncontrollable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study the practice exams and know all of the answers. The exams are very similar to the practice exams. Attend the review sessions that the TA and professor offer.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was such a hard class! But Polly Campbell honestly wants you to succeed and will do what she can to help you.

    Course highlights:

The topic is difficult but none the less fascinating! Genetic mutations and the way genes are inherited or expressed was really interesting. How do we have calico cats? Take this course to find out!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard, don't get behind, go to office hours and review sessions, and read the book.
