Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course load in itself was completely doable and the repetition of the exercises really helped me to learn how to utilize every tool in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. The professor was so easy to get along with and was always more than willing to instruct and encourage her students. It seems like a lot at first, but working through every assignment with the instructions from the book, I was able to finish with a good grade and a lot of knowledge of how to make things like posters, book covers, and music albums.

    Course highlights:

I learned the basics of Illustrator and InDesign, built my portfolio, worked with students that were willing to learn and a professor that was willing to help. It was a great experience and I would take it again in a heartbeat!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just gear up and do your work! It can only benefit you in the end. And get to know your professor, no matter who it is, any professor in the School of Media and Strategic Communications cares and is willing to help on anything!
