Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course because it gives you a more understanding of our government then high school gave us. Professor French explained things thoroughly and applied it to our government and politics today. After taking his class I fell like I know more about the American Government that I didn't understand or know prior.

    Course highlights:

When I took the course the United States was in the middle of an election. We focused a bit on the election and how the votes could turn out with the electoral college and we learned why we have an electoral college. We also focused on both political parties and the differences between rights and liberties.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Students who are taking this class should read the required readings, they are not hard, and really understand them because there is likely to be a quiz over it. They should take notes on paper and not on computer because they can use their notes on the clicker quizzes if on paper. Always look over the powerpoint. Whats on the powerpoint will most likely be on the exams. When it does come exam time definitely look at the study guides, they are just like the exams.
