    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a great course for getting an overview of biology, especially in terms of the concept of homeostasis.

    Course highlights:

This class really taught me how to tailor my studying for the course. The department actually gave us access to about 30 old tests, and going through those practice problems helped me immensely in terms of learning the material.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If any professor gives you review sheets or gives you access to old tests, definitely do them. Do them early, too, in order to have time to meet with the TAs to go over problem areas.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend for anyone going into the science, medical or veterinary fields! There are a lot of difficult parts to his course so if you do not have to take the class i would save my gpa and not.

    Course highlights:

I am currently enrolled in this class. As far as we have gotten is learning about plants, animals, and bacteria. There are a lot of pictures and graphs, and i love that about my course; because I am a visual learner.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study please and do not miss your biology class because there is no one here to tell you to attend. Always stay focused and be on time for class!

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because of it's difficulty and creativity. As an incoming freshman, I believed this would be a boring, science class. However, I realized that there was an incredible amount of intellect and reasoning needed to be successful in this class. It taught me that college is difficult but can be conquered by being dedicated and determined to be successful. Laziness will not be accepted and school work is of the utmost importance.

    Course highlights:

This class was very difficult and required countless hours of studying and participation. However, the highlight for me would have to be that I discovered an incredible new level of intellectual reasoning and commitment to success and coursework. The ideas and concepts which were taught were interesting and also promoted deeper thinking which will benefit you greatly in this course as well as further courses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend an exceptional commitment to studying as well as fully understanding the concepts and material which was taught. I would suggest taking time after each day of class to review your notes and make sure that you fully understand the material which was taught that day. Biology class is not a class which can be skipped. You MUST show up to class.
