Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course, because the professor is very helpful. He gives all the notes for his course online, with blank spaces. All you have to do is show up to class as he goes over the notes, and fill in the blanks. He also kindly goes over every example in the book and answers any questions during and after class.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of my class was understanding how managerial accountants have to prepare different statements in order for managers and inside employees to better understand how cash is being transferred within the company.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to come to class, and ask questions. Most importantly is if your having difficulty with the class go to tutoring, a few days of tutoring can help make managerial accounting clearer.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Accounting is not an easy course, but for many majors it is required. Professor Johnson not only cares about her students, but she also cares about their education. She provides ample extra credit opportunity, and if you want to do well in the course it is possible. I personally made a C on all the exams but ended the course with an A.

    Course highlights:

Job order costing, how to compute materials, labor, and overhead variance, how to analyze mixed cost using the high- low method, how to analyze cost-volume profit, allocating overhead costs using activity-based-costing, and process costing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of the extra credit opportunities and do all of the homework. Get all of your homework check by ACE in order to get a 100% on every homework assignment.
