Pretty easy, overall.
I would recommend this course because Professor Ding makes this subject that much more interesting. Even though its an upper division class, she takes the time to teach the material in way that you can understand the concept. She really wants her students to understand the material. Plus she's very knowledge and passionate about the subject.
The highlights are of financial markets, functions of the bank, preventing financial crisis, and monetary policy. I learned that all of these factors play an important part in a successful and prosperous economic system.

Advice for students:
I would say that the key to doing well in this class is to study and read the chapters, stay on top of the homework, and to ask questions whenever you first notice that you don't understand something.
