Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have never liked history. I dread it every time I have to take it. But no teacher or professor that I have ever been under the instruction of has ever brought history into perspective like Professor Harcourt. He ties everything together in this big story, and it makes you see history as a flow rather than a bunch of jumbled facts.

    Course highlights:

I learned how everything in history has a cause and effect, and got a chance to discuss all of this with Professor Harcourt and my classmates.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't fall behind on the reading. He gives you a decent amount of reading homework each class, and sometimes response papers, but it's never hard, and the papers are always easy. But don't think that because it's easy that not doing it won't affect your grade, because it will.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because unlike most history courses this professor gives a wide, in depth view of both European and African prospective.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned that enslaved Africans were worth millions, and that they played a major role in creating the America we know today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I took this course online and I would advice students to take notes on the power points the professor provided. These notes will help during tests.

I would recommend taking this course because it provides a great deal of information and is easy.

Highlights of taking this course include A LOT of grades. So even if you don't do so good on one assignment , you have a lot of others that will make it as if that one isn't there.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to watch lectures and/or read the section readings to help get a better understanding of the material.
