This class was tough.
Course Overview:
Yes, only because of the professor is nice and funny. If pre-calculus is a required class for you, this is the best professor to have. She will help as long as you ask for help. She will go over things multiple times if she has to just to make sure you understand the material. Amazing professor for that.
Course highlights:
The professor is always concerned about her students so she helps us out. I have somewhat of a better grasp on math after her class.
Hours per week:
9-11 hours
Advice for students:
STUDY!! The only way to pass this class is to study and ask questions or stay after class.
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
The Professor can be annoying, with him wanting the work shown a certain way and everything done a certain way.
Course highlights:
My highlights of this class was leaving it. I learned that people think math should be done a specific way.
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
if one is dead sent on taking this professor, then learn how he wants the work to be shown. If one is not dead set on taking this professor, then find another professor
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
This class allowed me to enhance me further into my Math career and give me a much better footing for Calculus.
Course highlights:
I was able to learn everything that I need to know for Calculus and review material form Algebra II. we were able to learn about limits, horizontal and vertical asymptotes, derivatives, which are crucial for Calculus.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
I would recommend that you stay on top of homework because the tests have a direct correlation to the test with the same types of problems. There is a good amount of memorization required for formulas and the unit circle so I would recommend lots of flashcards.
